Spring is coming

Spring is slowly coming to east China and I can see some sun out the window as I type. Classes have resumed and I'm trying to make connections with 250-300 students. They have introduced themselves to their classmates, interviewed each other-some as themselves or as President Obama or the NBA favorite: Kobe Bryant. WE're all tired of the gray and the rain so this touch of blue is hopeful.
Two weeks ago I bought my first digital camera in the hopes that I can now have a photographic record of my life in Nanjing.
I'm also grateful to my newfound Twitter friends who help me to continue to expand my horizons and meet the challenges of being an expat.
