Last nite 14 second year students gave 2 minute presentations on topics of their choice-and I was one of the four judges. So now I have met some more English teachers of Chinese ancestry who work at "my" university too.
Most of them have memorized-so a problem of eye contact and repeating the same sentence when theyforget what is next.
No heat in the building-outside temp is around 32F.
In the dorm rooms-no heat. Electricity is turned off at 11pm.
Me- I bought a small heater for my study where I spend most of my time. Last year I moved my bedding to this room. It seems my bodyforgot that I grew up in Minnesota where winter is a 6 month event.
